Zusammenfassung

Bottomline, a global leader in business payments and cash management, is seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant to join the General Ledger Accounting team. You will own the accounting and month-end close for our Swiss entity in Geneva, while supporting accounting activities across the wider EMEA organisation.

You’ll also work with FP&A, cost analysis and international colleagues to ensure accurate, timely financial information and strong controls.

Qualifikationen

• Strong hands-on experience in financial accounting including general ledger and month-end close in an international or multi-entity organisation.
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent qualification (or nearing completion) is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Own general ledger accounting and month-end close for our Swiss entity, and support other EMEA entities.
• Prepare and review accruals, prepayments, payroll, expenses, accounts payable and other month-end adjustments.
• Perform P&L reviews and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating movements and ensuring accurate support.
• Manage intercompany accounting, tax queries and cross-entity transactions.
• Support annual statutory audits and development of local statutory financial statements.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and timely reporting.
• Support FP&A activities and provide cost analysis alongside business stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to strengthen controls.
