Fastmarkets is seeking a Global Freight Editor to establish and lead a new freight reporting and pricing capability within the editorial function. This role offers the opportunity to build a specialist team, define the strategy, and develop a roadmap for freight prices and content that support Fastmarkets’ commodity markets.

Qualificações

• Experience launching price assessments or benchmarks and building a new coverage area or editorial growth plan.
• Ability to recruit, design teams, establish processes and phased growth.
• Experience leading reporters across global offices and time zones.

Responsabilidades

• Build and lead a new global freight reporting and pricing team within the editorial function.
• Develop and implement the editorial strategy for freight coverage and pricing.
• Own and drive the freight pricing roadmap and launch prices and content.
• Create freight prices and market intelligence to support methodologies and pricing.
• Establish robust operating processes and publishing schedules for the team.
• Ensure IOSCO-compliant price assessments and documentation.
• Allocate resources across markets and offices to meet pricing and reporting duties.
• Recruit, coach and develop a small initial team of freight market reporters.
• Monitor global freight markets and translate changes into priorities.
• Communicate strategy and progress with the Global Head of Editorial and Pricing.
