Job summary

Unilever Fragrance House is transforming how fragrance is created, deployed and leveraged across Unilever to deliver superior consumer experiences. The Global Program & Operations Director will own end-to-end accountability for the systems turning BG priorities into a delivered global fragrance programme.

Reporting to the Head of UFH, this leadership role sits on the UFH Leadership Team, responsible for the backbone that enables fast, disciplined execution and impact across a worldwide network

Qualifications

• Proven track record building/running complex global operating models and technical organisations.
• Experience leading large-scale programs, operations, infrastructure or enterprise-wide capability transformations.
• Understanding of fragrance creation facilities; direct fragrance/flavours/ingredients experience or adjacent consumer goods R&D operations.
• Ability to create scalable governance frameworks and performance systems.
• Ability to lead through influence and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong strategic/commercial judgement and data-driven decision making.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience to build new capabilities in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Creative Programme Delivery - translate BG priorities into a focused multi-year agenda; drive prioritisation, transparency, and delivery discipline across the network; manage external fragrance house partnerships; provide leadership with programme performance reporting.
• Lab Operations & Infrastructure - set long-term strategy for global laboratory facilities; ensure world-class, safe, compliant labs; own infrastructure investment roadmap.
• Hub Strategy, Design & Scale-Up - define future UFH footprint; design and integrate new hubs; apply learnings across iterations.
• Palette Management - manage global ingredients palette with cost-effectiveness and reliability; coordinate with Procurement and Supply Chain.
• Organisation & Leadership - build a world-class, globally distributed programme & operations organisation with strong talent pipelines.
