Job summary

GCP in Hertfordshire is seeking an FP&A Finance Manager to act as the finance business partner for HR, R&D and Supply Chain, guiding budgeting, forecasting and capex analysis.

You will consolidate results, manage global budget processes, payroll projections and financial reporting, requiring 5+ years of experience and strong Excel, Power BI. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial and data analysis experience.
• Advanced knowledge of financial accounting and reporting.
• Expert in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Query.
• Ability to consolidate information across multiple businesses into one view.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and remote-work compatibility.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to functional leaders (HR, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance and others).
• Review financial results with functional leaders on a regular cadence.
• Prepare payroll analysis, including headcount and compensation costs.
• Lead monthly results review for each functional area with accuracy and timeliness.
• Follow up on variances vs budget and explain the numbers.
• Evaluate and model changes proposed by functional areas and projects.
• Generate metrics to measure expenses, efficiency and productivity.
• Lead the annual budget process with functional leaders.
