Job summary

Eaton Syalon Ltd is partnering with a major Derby-based FTSE 100 business to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager into its Group Financial Control function. This senior finance role focuses on IFRS reporting, statutory accounts, technical accounting and coordination with external auditors across a complex, multi-entity group.

You will engage with senior stakeholders and drive improvements to reporting processes in a truly international environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised professional accountancy qualification – ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and experience.
• Experience in statutory and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare group financial statement notes and gather information from stakeholders across the business.
• Ensure disclosures are accurate, robust and IFRS-compliant.
• Act as main contact for external auditors on group disclosures.
• Coordinate the preparation and audit of UK subsidiary statutory accounts.
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements reflecting new standards.
• Manage month-end process for multiple entities.
• Support forecasting with Group Financial Control forecasting team.
• Review JV and joint operation accounting across the Group.
• Lead ad hoc reporting projects, including M&A-related activity.
