Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO in Leicester is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead the UK finance accounting and reporting function, managing a team of finance professionals and collaborating with operational stakeholders and global Shared Service Centres.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will ensure accuracy and compliance of statutory accounts, tax packs, VAT returns, and regulatory submissions, while driving improvements in processes and controls and supporting working capital optimization.

Qualifications

• Qualified finance professional with UK GAAP and statutory reporting experience.
• Experience leading a finance team and coordinating external audits.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
• Experience with VAT, tax packs, and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead UK financial reporting and accounting for the organisation.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting under UK GAAP/US GAAP.
• Coach and develop the finance team and partner with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Shared Service Centres and external auditors/tax advisers.
• Drive process improvements in finance controls and working capital.
