Job summary

Eaton Syalon Ltd is seeking a Part-Time Group Accountant to join its Head Office finance team in Derby. The role covers group reporting, controls, cash management, intercompany activity, tax and group reporting within a high-growth manufacturing environment.

You will own key accounting processes, manage three holding companies, prepare journals, reconcile intercompany accounts, and support budgeting, treasury and year-end activities.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and group consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, PSA returns and payroll reconciliations.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and managing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of Group Head Office accounts and trial balances, including monthly Group reporting package.
• Prepare monthly journals, including accruals, prepayments, interest and loan amounts.
• Complete intercompany reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Own quarterly Group management recharges and Transfer Pricing considerations.
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasts for the Head Office entity.
• Support year-end audit, tax compliance and preparation of company financial statements.
