Healix is seeking a commercial, strategic Financial Controller to champion financial health and governance across its international business. You will lead an accomplished finance team and partner with senior leadership to turn complex data into actionable insights for executive decisions.

The role supports Esher, UK or Cape Town, SA, and emphasizes governance, planning, and cross-border finance leadership to drive sustained growth.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience across management accounting and financial control.
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102, statutory reporting, and VAT/corporate tax compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, able to influence across levels.

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end financial operations and governance for global entities.
• Lead group finance team and drive continuous professional growth.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and multi-currency liquidity.
• Deliver monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and executive commentary.
• Drive budgeting and rolling forecasting with department leaders.
• Lead external audits, statutory filings, and international tax compliance.
• Champion internal controls aligned with FRS 102 standards.
