Qualifications

• ACA/CA qualified or equivalent required.
• 5+ years post-qualified financial control experience.
• Trained in a leading audit or accountancy practice.
• Understanding of safeguarding requirements, client money regulations and FX operations.
• Strong technical accounting, reporting and controls experience including FCA and safeguarding environments.
• Track record of systems improvement, finance transformation or process optimization.
• Experience presenting financial information to senior stakeholders and boards.
• Previous team leadership and people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of financial control, reporting and month-end close.
• Produce management accounts, board reporting and performance analysis.
• Oversee safeguarding, client money controls and FX-related reporting requirements.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and regulatory reporting processes.
• Manage the annual audit and external stakeholder relationships.
• Improve finance systems, processes and reporting capabilities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and longer-term financial planning.
• Lead and develop a small finance team.
• Partner with operational, commercial and compliance teams across the business.
• Support business growth initiatives, operational scalability and strategic projects.
