Job summary

TOPdesk is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to drive global accounting operations, focusing on consolidation, internal controls, and audit management. You will report to the VP Global Controller and help build a scalable finance function across international entities.

The role requires Chartered Accountant credentials, Big 4 or national firm audit experience, and 5–10 years of global accounting experience, including Netsuite experience.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with Big 4 or national firm audit background.
• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience in a global, PE-backed company.
• Experience leading consolidation in a multicurrency environment.
• Strong internal controls mindset and improvement track record.
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead consolidation, reporting, and currency-variant statements.
• Oversee internal and external reporting including lender packages and FP&A coordination.
• Manage external audits and serve as primary audit contact.
• Develop and enforce global accounting policies, controls and close governance.
