Job summary

William Reed is seeking a Financial Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting across the Group, covering multiple entities and jurisdictions. You will work hands-on across reporting, statutory compliance, tax and controls, delivering high-quality information for governance and decision-making.

In this role you will collaborate with auditors, advisers and international finance teams to resolve complex issues and drive process improvements across financial reporting and governance.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification required (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting knowledge including statutory reporting and financial controls.
• Experience using ERP systems and reporting tools to produce financial information.
• Knowledge of UK and international accounting requirements (IFRS, FRS102).
• Experience in group reporting, consolidations and multi-entity environments.
• Knowledge of UK & international tax requirements (corporate, indirect taxes).
• Ability to interpret complex financial information and advise stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual financial reporting for UK entities in line with accounting standards and regulations.
• Engage with auditors, advisers and finance teams to support reporting and compliance.
• Produce Group consolidations and multi-currency reporting across international entities.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on standards, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support statutory, regulatory and tax compliance across UK and international operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems and controls.
• Contribute to treasury and cash management while upholding governance and control standards.
