Job summary

Quantexa is seeking an experienced Financial Lead to drive finance process transformation and controls across a global, multi-entity environment. Reporting to the VP Finance, you will shape the Target Operating Model and partner with Technology to modernise close, reporting and data governance.

You’ll lead design, implementation and benefits tracking of finance systems and automation; manage change across the function and ensure sustainable improvements in close efficiency and decision making.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with statutory reporting across multiple entities/jurisdictions.
• Head of Finance/Financial Controller level with full accounting cycle oversight.
• Multi-GAAP statutory accounting across entities/jurisdictions.
• Deep understanding of controllership: close, reconciliations, consolidation, intercompany, reporting.
• Track record leading finance systems/projects (ERP, close redesign, automation).
• Design and implement future-state close operating models (process, automation, data).
• Strong project management skills; Agile/Prince2 exposure.
• Experience leading teams through significant change and driving adoption.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Finance Target Operating Model (TOM) across processes, systems and data.
• Develop transformation roadmap aligned to objectives, governance and SOX readiness.
• Redesign finance processes to improve productivity and control.
• Identify control gaps and remediation plans.
• Establish data governance and reporting frameworks for quality and reliability.
• Map and optimise end-to-end transaction flows across systems.
• Lead finance systems and automation projects end-to-end.
• Partner with Finance and Technology to select and implement solutions.
• Drive automation across close, journals, reconciliations and reporting.
• Ensure data integrity and governance in changes.
• Establish governance standards for financial data ownership.
• Apply disciplined project/programme management with benefits tracking.
• Communicate objectives and expected outcomes to stakeholders.
• Support teams through change and adoption.
