Job summary

The Citi London Data Governance Foundation team is seeking a senior leader to define the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy and Data Risk and Controls framework. You will design controlled data governance processes enabling regional adoption and regulatory compliance.

You will articulate the strategy to senior leadership and regulators, liaising across functions and regions, and drive cross-functional programs with strong communication and governance discipline.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Data Governance/ Data Management within Banking or Financial Services
• Knowledge of data sources, data insights and regulatory requirements
• Proven track record as a Program/Project Manager on large cross-functional initiatives

Responsibilities

• Liaise with functions, lines of business and regional Federated Chief Data Office to align Data Governance and/or Data Risk strategy
• Develop prioritization framework to define and track enterprise data program scope
• Integrate data roadmaps into an enterprise data roadmap to deliver the prioritized scope
• Provide advisory services on prioritization and requirements as needed
• Analyze overlapping initiatives to resolve duplication of effort
• Partner with ECDO Function Heads to develop capability maturity framework
• Develop materials to articulate progress on data governance strategy for leadership and regulatory updates
• Liaise with metrics team to articulate clear requirements for objective measures
