SmartestEnergy UK seeks a senior finance leader to oversee Financial Reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance across the UK and Group. You will drive timely reporting, group consolidation, and the Financial Controls Framework while partnering with Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance.

The role supports expansion into new markets, regulatory changes, and business transformation, leveraging IFRS expertise to strengthen governance and scalable processes across multiple entities.

Formación

• Qualified ACA/ACCA with 4–5+ years in financial reporting, audit or financial control.
• Experience leading multi-entity group reporting and external audits.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and technical accounting expertise.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Financial Reporting team delivering monthly, quarterly and annual UK reporting.
• Maintain integrity of UK balance sheet, P&L and cash flow.
• Oversee Group consolidation and Group reporting quality.
• Challenge financial results and accounting judgements.
• Ensure IFRS application and alignment with policies across entities.
• Drive reporting evolution for new products, markets, and acquisitions.
• Lead statutory and Group audits and oversee Group Financial Controls Framework.
• Mature the control environment and governance standards.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance on remediation.
• Drive data governance improvements and Workday reporting enhancements.
