Job summary
Unison Ltd is seeking an experienced Service & Support Technician to install, commission and service Unison equipment, with travel to customer sites worldwide. You will support customers during start-up, maintenance and remote diagnostics, liaising with the service team to meet SLAs and drive service improvements.
The role requires flexibility for anti-social hours and extensive overseas travel across multiple industries, including Oil & Gas, Aerospace and Automotive, to maximise value
Qualifications
- Must have BTEC, NVQ Level 3, Advanced GNVQ time served apprenticeship AND/OR proven practical experience in mechanical and electrical engineering in industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication, able to interact at all levels with customers and internal staff.
- Good organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise workload to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission and service all Unison equipment.
- Manage service contracts and ensure on-time delivery of scheduled work and breakdown responses.
- Document and submit installation, service and customer training paperwork promptly.
- Follow up on outstanding issues and maintain accurate timesheets.
- Identify opportunities for additional service contracts during site activities.
- Attend site surveys and meetings to support project delivery.
