A global leader in detection technology is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in the United Kingdom. This full-time role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced cargo vehicle inspection systems. The ideal candidate possesses a recognized engineering qualification and experience in high-security environments. The position requires significant travel, approximately 90%, to various locations. Qualifications
Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
Knowledge of IT networking (CCNP or equivalent preferred).
Experience with integrated systems including PLCs, high-voltage systems, and/or radar.
Responsibilities
Conduct maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on CVI and RTT X‑ray scanning systems.
Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and software components.
Provide third-line technical support to site engineers.
