Job summary

Travis Talent Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a Sheffield-based client for a PT Commercial Export & Import Administrator.

This role suits an organised, detail-focused administrator with experience in international shipping, export documentation and customer order coordination.

You will coordinate shipments, prepare invoices and declarations, liaise with freight forwarders and keep customers informed from processing to delivery. Salary £20,000 for 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in export administration, logistics or order processing.
• Strong understanding of export documentation and shipping procedures.
• Experience with freight forwarders and shipping platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail and methodical paperwork.
• Strong organisational skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating export and import shipments, including freight bookings and customs requirements.
• Preparing and checking commercial invoices, packing lists and customs declarations.
• Liaising with freight forwarders and external partners to arrange deliveries.
• Tracking shipments and keeping customers and colleagues informed of delivery progress.
• Supporting customer enquiries and order processing.
• Maintaining accurate order, shipment and customer records in internal systems.
• Ensuring documentation meets customer requirements and trade regulations.
• Maintaining clear records to support audits and document traceability.
• Working across internal teams to meet delivery deadlines.
• Identifying opportunities to improve administration and shipment coordination.
