Job summary

Thursday is the IRL dating app and the biggest in-person dating company in the world. We are hiring an Events Operations Manager who will lead regional events managers globally, ensure optimal number of events, venues and full rooms, and drive performance across cities.

The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is UK-based with flexible hours. You will own the playbook for launching new cities, hire and onboard regional managers, and keep events running smoothly across time zones.

Qualifications

• Experience leading regional or multi-city teams in events, hospitality or nightlife.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and hit city targets.
• Experience hiring and onboarding staff in multiple countries and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional events managers across several countries and drive performance.
• Review venues, listings, pricing and staffing for upcoming events.
• Set city targets and monitor performance; share best practices across cities.
• Grow the business by hiring regional managers and launching new cities.
• Monitor marketing budgets and report weekly on events, sales and profitability.
