Job summary

Hyve Group is seeking an Operations Manager within the Bett EdTech division. You will lead operational delivery across exhibition, conference, and meetings components, shaping budgets and enabling world-class event experiences.

You will collaborate with sales, content, client engagement, and marketing teams while ensuring health and safety standards and effective supplier management. International travel is involved.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operations for large international Exhibitions and conferences.
• Strong commercial decision-making and problem solving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changeable environment.
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm whilst managing numerous priorities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willing to work flexible hours and UK & international locations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage operational and logistical elements for the portfolio of events to a market-leading standard, following health, safety and security regulations.
• Monitor budgets with your team to keep costs under control and aim for best cost and profit targets.
• Support Client Engagement on operational needs for sponsorship across the portfolio.
• Provide operational advice to sales, content, client engagement, and marketing teams.
• Manage floorplan layouts with sales personnel per venue and regulatory requirements.
• Train and develop the operations coordinator to high performance.
• Ensure health and safety standards across the portfolio.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and stakeholders.
• Manage design and build of feature areas to specifications and budget.
