Job summary

Vertiv Co is seeking a Manager, Global Estimating Excellence to lead governance, standards, and knowledge management across its Global Power Software & Controls product line. The role drives consistency, accuracy, scalability, and continuous improvement in estimating activities worldwide, owning estimating standards and best practices while leveraging C1/CPQ platforms for efficiency and compliance.

Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally as part of partnerships with Estimating,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, commercial, or related field.
• 7+ years in estimating, proposal management, pricing operations, or related disciplines.
• Experience governing business processes within technical/commercial environments.
• Strong knowledge of estimating methodologies, pricing, costing, and proposal development.
• Experience driving process improvement and standardization initiatives.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global estimating standards, methodologies, and practices.
• Establish governance frameworks to improve quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Audit and monitor compliance with estimating processes and approvals.
• Drive standardization across regions while accommodating local requirements.
• Lead improvements to C1 and CPQ platforms and related tools; partner with IT for enhancements.
