Job summary

Progress Rail in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced ERP Functional Analyst to join our global IT team. You will provide first-line functional support for our ERP platform across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Warehousing, investigate issues, coordinate resolutions, and help drive continuous improvement across international sites.

You will translate user requirements into system enhancements, support upgrades and testing, create user guides, and collaborate with ERP

Qualifications

• Experience supporting and administering ERP systems in manufacturing, engineering, distribution, or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of business processes across Finance, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Warehousing.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot ERP issues while delivering user support.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into system improvements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical, organized, proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line functional ERP support across multiple functions and sites.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolutions.
• Manage support tickets from logging to completion.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Warehousing teams.
• Translate user requirements into system improvements and change requests.
• Support ERP enhancements, upgrades, testing, and implementation.
• Create and maintain user documentation and knowledge articles.
• Work with ERP specialists, developers, third-party partners, and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive ERP best practices.
• Build strong relationships and deliver high-level customer service.
