Job summary

GBM Securities is seeking an Execution Sales Trader to cover European and US equity markets in a front-office, desk-based role. You will support DMA execution, monitor real-time order flow, and ensure stable market access across trading hours, with scope to advance into broader flow-trading responsibilities.

You will work with brokers, technology, risk, and compliance to maintain high execution standards, and may handle high-touch orders requiring judgement.

Qualifications

• Experience in equity execution trading or DMA support covering European and US markets.
• Solid understanding of DMA workflows and electronic order flow monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with OMS/EMS platforms such as Bloomberg EMSX/TOMS, Trafix, or similar.
• Familiarity with algorithmic execution strategies and order routing across venues, dark pools, and auctions.
• Knowledge of pre-trade risk controls and regulatory frameworks (FCA, SEC, exchange rules).
• Ability to manage high-touch orders alongside electronic execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication and readiness to rotate between European and US trading hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time, desk-based DMA support for European and US equity order flow.
• Maintain DMA connectivity, routing configurations, and exchange access.
• Configure and support FIX order and execution sessions.
• Troubleshoot rejects, latency, and connectivity issues with brokers and venues.
• Handle high-touch European and US orders requiring discretion.
• Offer intraday liquidity insights and execution strategy input.
• Configure OMS/EMS workflows, routing tables, and user profiles.
• Test and validate execution algorithms (VWAP, TWAP, POV).
• Monitor risk controls and ensure regulatory compliance; prepare incident reports.
