Job summary

Equinix is seeking a world‑class Sr Principal Engineer to lead enterprise networking architecture within the Digital Infrastructure Organization. This role is a pure IC and accountable for defining, governing, and evolving global networking strategy across the enterprise.

Key duties include serving as the ultimate technical authority, defining holistic networking architecture, and partnering with cloud, security, and edge teams to accelerate modernization while upholding standards and security

Qualifications

• Proven enterprise‑scale networking and security architecture experience.
• Experience with global multi‑site environments (10,000+ endpoints, petabit class fabrics).
• Proven leadership in strategic planning and architecture governance.

Responsibilities

• Act as Final Technical Authority for enterprise networking architecture.
• Own the Global Networking Architecture across LAN/WAN/datacenter/cloud/etc.
• Set and enforce reference architectures, patterns, and security standards.
• Lead long‑term 5‑year networking roadmaps with executive‑level alignment.
• Architect scalable, high‑performance connectivity solutions across diverse tech stacks.
