Job summary

Nscale is hiring a Principal Network Engineer to act as a senior technical authority for our AI-optimised network infrastructure. You’ll set direction across low-latency, high-bandwidth networks and own critical domains end-to-end, mentoring engineers and partnering across Deployment, Data Centre Operations, Platform Engineering, Systems, Storage and vendors.

You’ll lead architecture, define reference models, and drive consistency across sites while advancing automated, observable, secure

Qualifications

• 10+ years of network engineering experience in HPC/AI environments.
• Hands-on with InfiniBand and RoCE for AI/HPC workloads.
• OpenSM or NVIDIA UFM experience for fabric orchestration.
• Expert-level BGP, EVPN-VXLAN, and spine-leaf architectures.
• Production experience with Cumulus, Nokia, Arista EOS; Python/Ansible tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve InfiniBand, RoCE, Ethernet fabric architectures at scale.
• Lead network automation with GitOps, Python, and Ansible tooling.
• Design perimeter and data-centre security infrastructure across WAN & edge.
• Own architecture, drive standards across multiple sites, mentor engineers.
• Lead incidents and complex decisions spanning networking, systems and AI workloads.
