Job summary

Civica in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to own Civica's data architecture as we modernise our technology landscape and enable analytics, automation and AI enablement. You’ll shape how data flows across the organisation and establish standards, governance, and architectural principles for our future state.

You will work closely with senior leaders, technology teams and strategic partners including Salesforce, NetSuite, Certinia and PwC to influence

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise data architecture across large-scale transformations.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and master data management.
• Ability to design data models and migration strategies.
• Experience with ERP, PSA, and data integration projects.
• Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, Certinia is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop Civica's enterprise data and integration architecture strategy.
• Document current-state and future-state data architecture across the organisation.
• Design scalable data models, integration patterns, and migration strategies that support business transformation.
• Provide architectural leadership across major programmes including ERP, PSA, integration, and data transformation initiatives.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on data governance standards, quality controls, and master data management approaches.
• Support large-scale data migration activities.
• Define transition states from legacy to target architectures.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure architectural alignment and successful delivery.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for executive and non-technical audiences.
• Provide oversight and guidance on data security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the subject matter authority for enterprise data architecture across central functions.
