Job summary

The Engineering Systems Support Engineer at JCB within Group IT ensures global deployment, maintenance and support of engineering software across the business. You will be the first point of contact for applications like Teamcenter, NX, and Altair, delivering projects and BAU support worldwide.

You should have a IT or Engineering degree, 5 years’ experience in Engineering Systems support, and the ability to attain UK Security Check clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or Engineering.
• 5 years’ experience of Engineering Systems support.
• UK Security Check (SC) clearance possible.
• Hands-on background with application and/or hardware support.
• You are a proactive team player with a drive to learn.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day running and monitoring of Engineering Systems; generate reports and analyze performance.
• Fault finding to root cause using industry methods.
• Deploy and upgrade engineering software to global teams.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for Engineering applications.
• Support infrastructure tasks and application monitoring with IT teams.
• Create and test SCCM packages for engineering apps.
• Monitor licensing and access across applications.
• Gather requirements for system development and support.
• Coordinate testing and deliver project sign-off with Engineering Leaders.
