Job summary

Sulzer in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple engineering and service projects from initiation to completion. You will act as the primary customer contact and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with safety, quality, and contract terms.

The ideal candidate brings senior project management experience in engineering or industrial services, strong planning skills, and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Project Manager role within engineering, manufacturing, industrial services or a related technical environment.
• Strong project planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules and commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple engineering and service projects simultaneously from initiation through to completion.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinating cross-functional teams including engineering, production, procurement and operations.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Monitoring project performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans.
• Ensuring projects are delivered in compliance with safety, quality and contractual requirements.
• Managing project reporting and providing regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
