Job summary

BNY is seeking a Head of International Employee Relations to join the People, Engagement & Impact team in London or Manchester. You will lead the international ER strategy, ensuring globally consistent and locally compliant approaches to conduct, grievances, and investigations, while partnering with senior leaders across Legal, Compliance, and Risk.

You will identify ER risks across markets, drive governance insights, and strengthen manager capability to build a high-performing international ER

Qualifications

Law degree preferred.
Sufficient years of People experience or strategic work.
Strong judgment and credibility to complex, sensitive, and high-risk employee matters.

Responsibilities

Leads the international employee relations strategy, ensuring globally consistent and locally compliant approaches to conduct, grievance, workplace concerns, and case management.
Partners with senior leaders, People, Legal, Compliance, and Risk to resolve complex employee matters and support sound, balanced business decisions.
Identifies emerging ER risks and trends across markets and translates them into proactive interventions, governance insights, and leadership actions.
Drives consistency, and efficiency in ER processes, investigations, and documentation standards across jurisdictions.
Builds organizational capability by strengthening manager effectiveness and developing a high-performing international ER team.
