Job summary

Pacific Life Re in London is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to lead ER across the International region. You will design and embed a new ER service delivery framework and advise business leaders on complex employee matters.

The role partners with Legal, PX and HRBPs, conducts investigations, and oversees governance, training, and risk management to ensure compliant, fair outcomes across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Employment Law, or related discipline.
• 10+ years' experience in Employee Relations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience leading investigations and advising senior leaders on sensitive, high-risk issues.
• Strong analytical and problem solving capability.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Experience contributing to ER governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of labour laws, GDPR, and regional ER practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Enterprise ER framework and governance standards.
• Lead complex workplace investigations and support high-risk matters.
• Provide expert ER guidance to PX, HRBPs, Legal, and leaders across regions.
• Oversee ER programs through the tiered support model and escalation.
• Monitor ER effectiveness across the international region and report trends.
• Collaborate with Global ER for aligned approaches and improvements.
• Design and deliver ER training for managers and employees.
