Job summary

BW Packaging seeks a Lead, Engineering Excellence – Global Standards (Electrical) to develop and govern worldwide electrical engineering standards across packaging products. You will set rules, templates, and documentation, ensuring safe, reliable, and scalable engineering practice worldwide.

Reporting to the Director, Engineering Excellence – Electrical, you will drive alignment with controls, product innovation, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in electrical hardware design or standards development for industrial machinery.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN; knowledge of NFPA, UL, CE, IEC codes.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and governs global electrical engineering standards for packaging.
• Collaborates with controls, product innovation, and manufacturing teams to embed standards.
• Leads stewardship of documentation, libraries, BOM structures, and revision control.
