The Edge & Network Services (ENS) team at Meta is seeking a Network Infrastructure Design Engineer to shape space, power, cooling, and connectivity for global PoPs and data centres. You will work with cross-functional teams to expand capacity across the EMEA estate, while coordinating with APAC counterparts and vendors.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in large-scale infra design, familiarity with IEC/BS standards, and hands-on field experience in data centres, POPs, and related facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years designing large-scale data centres or mission-critical infra.
• Experience in space, power, cooling, and cabling for network/compute.
• Project management experience with complex technical delivery.
• Knowledge of electrical and cooling configurations across jurisdictions.
• Experience with field work in POPs or data centres.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems and scripting (Bash/Python).
• Understanding of optical transport and DWDM concepts.
• Experience with AI tools to improve workflows and efficiency.
• Professional engineering registration and relevant certifications.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and design space, power, cooling, and cabling for network and compute gear.
• Drive projects across global colocation estates and regional coordination.
• Interact with carriers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to meet requirements.
• Translate global design standards into region-compliant implementations.
• Lead planning, prioritization, and communication across time zones.
