Job summary

W Talent is seeking an International Commercial Consultant to drive pricing strategy, merchandising and margin optimization across international markets from our Edinburgh hub. You will build automated data pipelines and AI-enabled tools to simplify operations and reporting.

You’ll partner with country teams to shape product ranges, manage rebates, forecast demand and deliver dashboards for exec reviews. Strong English and finance acumen are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ecommerce commercial strategy, pricing, merchandising or financial modelling.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce pricing, product ranging, forecasting, rebates and margin.
• Comfortable reading a P&L and spotting anomalies.
• Proven experience building workflow automation, data pipelines and reporting dashboards, plus an interest in AI tooling.
• Experience managing international projects and guiding local teams.
• Analytical, consultative and adaptable, with excellent English.

Responsibilities

• Set pricing strategy using competitor price data and dynamic pricing rules.
• Lead online merchandising, including product ranging and visibility on site.
• Own supplier rebate tracking, margin modelling and sales forecasting support.
• Track promotional campaigns and review their margin impact and ROI.
• Provide hands on commercial support to country teams and share best practices.
• Provide models and analysis for annual and long term planning.
• Produce monthly executive packs and weekly dashboards.
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines, reporting and AI tools.
