Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in creative direction, design, or art direction at senior/director level
• Portfolio showing strong conceptual thinking and visual systems across packaging, product identity, and brands
• Experience launching brand/product identities from zero and working upstream with product/insights teams
• Fluency across brand and performance channels: packaging, DTC, Amazon, retail, social
• Strong craft at system architecture to execution details; high taste and originality
• Working with AI in the creative process and using modern design tools

Responsibilities

• Own Shark's conceptual and design direction across packaging, DTC, Amazon, retail, video, and social ideas
• Define product identities from 0 to 1 with product and insights teams
• Shape positioning and opportunities upstream before briefs
• Build scalable visual systems and campaign platforms across channels
• Lead, mentor, and grow the design team while staying hands-on
• Present and sell creative direction to senior stakeholders
• Use AI tools to push pace and quality of exploration
