Job summary

RX Global is seeking a Data Operations Executive to coordinate, govern, and optimise data activities across the business. You will work with business and technical teams to ensure data requests are delivered with quality, compliance, and efficiency while supporting strategic data initiatives for growth.

You will act as a central data contact, drive improvements, and monitor risks related to data quality and governance in a global events division within RELX.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of data processes, governance, and data protection requirements.
• Experience in coordinating data-related workflows and operational requests.
• Ability to perform root cause and impact analysis on data quality and process issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex, cross-functional environments.
• Understanding of data infrastructure and data flow concepts (no deep DBA expertise required).
• Ability to identify process improvements and drive implementation of new approaches.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn new tools, processes, and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee operational data requests, ensuring timelines, quality, and compliance are met.
• Act as central point of contact for data-related topics across business and technical teams.
• Ensure alignment with data protection regulations and internal governance processes.
• Identify and resolve data quality and process issues, including root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement of data processes and workflows to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Support and enable strategic initiatives such as Data Strategy and Data Activation activities.
• Conduct impact assessments for changes in data processes or requirements.
• Monitor data operations and proactively mitigate risks related to quality, compliance, or delivery.
