Job summary

ONNEC seeks a multi-skilled Data Centre Engineer to support a prestigious international financial organisation. You will work within a small team delivering data centre services, managing incidents, changes, assets and 3rd‑party vendors.

You will plan and execute hardware installations, decommissioning, cabling and documentation updates while adhering to strict data centre standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in high‑risk environments and Data Centres.
• Familiarity with DCIM tools and standards (desirable).
• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy (desirable).
• Attention to detail and proactive nature.

Responsibilities

• Work a 24x7x365 shift pattern (4 days on, 4 days off; 4 nights on, 4 nights off).
• Manage change control and incident resolution.
• Oversee assets and supervise 3rd‑party vendors.
• Plan and implement hardware installations and decommissioning to DC standards.
• Update documentation and inventories; complete service requests per SLA.
