ONNEC Group seeks a Data Centre Shift Engineer to join our Managed Services team at Welwyn Garden City. You will support day-to-day data centre operations, ensuring reliability and integrity of critical infrastructure while delivering a high standard of service to our customers.
You will work on 10-hour rotating shifts, perform copper/fibre patching, MACs, audits and incident responses, with occasional on-call and weekend overtime.

We are seeking a Data Centre Shift Engineer to join our Managed Services team based at on of our prestigious financial client site's in Welwyn Garden City.
This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day data centre operations, ensuring the reliability and integrity of critical infrastructure and delivering a high standard of service to our customers.
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will support hardware deployments, moves, changes, audits and break/fix activities across a busy data centre campus.
Site Engineers work on 10-hour rotating shifts that provide services from 07:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday at Welwyn Garden City (i.e., wk. 1 - 07:00 -17:00; wk. 2 09:00 -19:00)
Occasional weekend and evening overtime support requirements will be required, though this is generally planned in advance. Optional weekend overtime is also often available with other Onnec teams, such as Moves and Changes, at other London facilities.
