Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Customs Compliance Analyst to join a global technology and engineering team in Totnes, Devon. The role focuses on managing import/export processes, tariff classification and regulatory adherence across international operations.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, freight providers and customs brokers to ensure timely, compliant shipments and maintain audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• Experience in customs compliance and international trade.
• Knowledge of tariff classification and customs documentation.
• Understanding UK customs regulation and trade compliance laws.
• Experience with ERP systems (IFS or similar) is advantageous.
• Strong data analysis and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure import/export shipments comply with customs regulations.
• Prepare and maintain customs documentation and audit readiness.
• Support brokers and logistics providers with proper shipping instructions.
• Monitor shipments and resolve clearance issues.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders across operations and finance.
• Maintain accurate customs records and support audits.
