Job summary

Jobtailor in London is seeking a senior regulatory professional to engineer the global customs and freight compliance roadmap. You will own all customs entries, ATA Carnets, and biosecurity protocols while coordinating with engineering, design and procurement teams.

You will co-lead interactions with border agencies to safeguard major global events, oversee documentation, and ensure adherence to environmental protection standards across regions.

Qualifications

• Expert in border integrity and international trade regulations.
• Experience as Importer of Record via charter vessel.
• Ability to engage with customs authorities and port officials.
• Knowledge of SOPs and regulatory paperwork.
• Experience with biosecurity and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Engineer the global regulatory roadmap for customs and freight compliance.
• Own customs entries, ATA Carnets, temporary import bonds, and biosecurity protocols.
• Co-lead border agency engagements to safeguard the global event timeline.
• Collaborate with design and procurement to map customs profiles.
• Oversee strategy and underwriting for ATA Carnets and maritime declarations.
• Ensure compliance with environmental protection agencies.
