Careerowl.in is seeking a proactive Customs Specialist to manage import/export declarations and ensure compliant processing for designated customers from our Felixstowe office. You will handle customer instructions, documentation, and liaise with HMRC and external partners to maintain an efficient clearance process.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to established processes, and proactive service improvement across road, sea, and air freight operations.

Responsibilities

• Complete import and export customs declarations in accordance with standing instructions, customer requirements, client IOPs, and HMRC legislation.
• Submit accurate customs entries using ASM Sequoia and ensure all information and supporting documentation is complete and compliant.
• Manage customer documents, records, and folders for SCDP and Control Tower customers.
• Issue accurate customs clearance instructions to express agents and European offices.
• Rate, create, and manage jobs within Microsoft Dynamics to support end-to-end services for designated customers.
