Job summary

GSK, a global biopharma leader, seeks a Senior Manager in Global Corporate Media Relations to manage key media relationships and lead proactive communications. You will shape messaging across regions and support major corporate events, including results announcements and AGM.

Role requires high judgment, accuracy, and the ability to work across time zones with cross-functional teams, in a fast-paced environment focused on protecting and strengthening reputation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, external-facing communications environment with media relations.
• Regulated industry experience (pharma) a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to simplify complex topics.
• Calm under pressure and able to move quickly in response to media interest.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of proactive media announcements and campaigns to boost GSK’s reputation.
• Lead on media team systems, processes and administrative tasks for efficiency.
• Manage media responses for corporate issues and routine inquiries with cross-functional alignment.
• Build relationships with top-tier global and UK media to support strategy.
• Support media strategy, briefing materials for quarterly results, strategic updates and AGM.
• Collaborate with regional teams to adapt global narratives for local markets.
• Develop an internal network to deliver objectives and monitor coverage for insights.
