Job summary

Assured Data Protection Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our Global Core Infrastructure team.

This role focuses on implementing and supporting secure, scalable network environments across multiple regions with a strong bias toward troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has CCNA or higher, hands-on Cisco networking, Fortigate firewalls, and experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix.

Qualifications

• CCNA certification or higher is required.
• Hands-on Cisco networking experience (routing, switching, BGP, VLANs).
• Fortigate firewall management in enterprise environments.
• Datacenter/networking experience with Nexus is preferred.
• Experience with network analysis tools such as Wireshark and iPerf.

Responsibilities

• Implement, troubleshoot and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure across global environments.
• Support and optimize Cisco-based networks, including routing, switching, and datacenter technologies.
• Configure and manage Fortigate firewalls, including VPNs, security policies, and traffic inspection.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across LAN, WAN, and datacenter environments.
• Collaborate with other infrastructure teams to support infrastructure projects and issues.
• Participate in out-of-hours on-call rota, providing incident response.
• Provide networking expertise to support virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, Nutanix).
• Participate in network architecture reviews, capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams and procedures.
• Support change management, incident response and root cause analysis.
