We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our Global Core Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for implementing, and supporting secure, scalable, and highly available network environments across multiple regions, with a strong bias towards troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco networking (ideally Nexus), Fortigate firewalls, with knowledge of Netgate pfSense a plus. Familiarity with networking configuration of Enterprise virtualization platforms, such as VMware/Hyper-V and Nutanix is preferred, and the candidate would be comfortable collaborating remotely with distributed teams across time zones.
The candidate will also be required to participate in the departments on-call out-of-hours rota.
The ideal candidate would enjoy troubleshooting network issues and have a minimum of CCNA certification. Experience working for a Service Provider, supporting on-prem network equipment with many incoming customer connections/address spaces across multiple locations would be advantageous.
The role is not normally customer facing, however the ability to pick up issues and work with customer technical teams through to completion is important.
