Job summary

Mission Aviation Fellowship in the United Kingdom is seeking a Content & Communications Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover) to support programme-based Communications Officers and fundraising teams, coordinate internal communications and social channels, and help maintain the media asset library.

You will work closely with Heads of Communications and Regional Managers, manage internal updates, edit materials for clarity, ensure data protection compliance, and contribute to prayer resources and events

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, especially in metadata and content tagging.
• Practical experience with social media scheduling tools and digital asset management systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to edit for clarity and audience.
• Collaborative team player who can prioritise and support multiple stakeholders.
• Awareness of data protection and ethical guidelines relating to media use.

Responsibilities

• Meet the needs of programme and fundraising teams and prepare internal updates.
• Coordinate and schedule content across MAF International’s social media channels, and produce/adapt branded communications materials and Resource Packs for field and support offices.
• Maintain and improve the media library: upload, tag and archive assets, advise users on selection and metadata, and support transfers.
• Support the Integration Programme through change-management communications, video editing and development of internal comms platforms; aid marketing and fundraising by tracking story submissions.
• Keep the Communications inbox and intranet pages up to date; organise and participate in team meetings and conferences; as part of the Prayer Team, plan International Days of Prayer and distribute prayer resources.
