Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a Group Consolidation Manager to lead the Shared Services Group Accounting function across multiple entities. You will support month-end close, statutory and tax reporting, intercompany accounting, and consolidation activities while maintaining strong internal controls.

Based in Chelmsford, UK, this full-time role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications and proven experience in multinational or shared services environments.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Experience in shared services or multinational environments.
• Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting, consolidation, US GAAP and statutory compliance.
• Experience with SAP and group consolidation systems.
• Proven ability to lead month-end close and audits in a SOX environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead group consolidation across multiple legal entities, business units and regions.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting cycles.
• Oversee intercompany accounting.
• Drive process improvement and balance sheet integrity.
• Support statutory, tax audits, and SOX controls.
• Maintain SAP General Ledger infrastructure and act as SME for SAP developments.
• Collaborate with finance leaders to sustain robust processes.
• Develop Group Consolidation team capability through guidance and coaching.
