Job summary

Bird & Bird is seeking a proactive Analyst to join the Global Business Acceptance team in the UK. You will analyse conflicts of interest, financial crime issues and reputational risk, while supporting global colleagues and addressing a variety of queries.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of issues, with opportunities for personal development and a global scope, based in the UK. You will work within a well-established team and contribute to policy and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing conflicts of interest or financial crime issues in a professional services or financial firm.
• Ability to identify issues, escalate when needed and work collaboratively to resolve them.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn and develop technical and non-technical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an approachable demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Analyse a wide range of business acceptance issues daily, aligning with firm policy and commercial considerations.
• Support the Global Business Acceptance team with external queries and escalations as needed.
• Promote inclusion and growth through high-quality, commercially-focused work.
• Collaborate with Global Risk & Compliance teams and other firms globally on a daily basis.
• Pursue learning opportunities and develop relevant technical skills.
• Contribute to policy and framework development within the team.
