Job summary

Boskalis is seeking a Commercial Manager for Boskalis Subsea Cables. You will merge commercial relationship management with market intelligence and business development to drive opportunities in Offshore Renewables and Interconnectors.

You will work with colleagues across the business to win new projects and shape our market approach, building relationships with clients while developing a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in commercial, business development, market intelligence, tendering, or procurement.
• Affinity with the Offshore Energy, Renewables or Maritime industry.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Strong English communication, written and spoken.
• Willing to travel internationally when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor developments in the Offshore Renewables and Interconnector markets and translate these into commercial opportunities.
• Conduct market intelligence and competitor analyses to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
• Track vessel activities, project developments, and market trends to identify future opportunities.
• Support the development and maintenance of market databases, customer intelligence, and opportunity pipelines.
• Understand what drives our clients and contribute to building long-term partnerships.
• Support commercial negotiations and contribute to tailored commercial solutions for clients.
• Challenge tender teams to align proposals with client needs and market developments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the commercial strategy for Boskalis Subsea Cables.
