Job summary

Boskalis Subsea Cables seeks a Commercial Manager to combine commercial relationship management with market intelligence and business development activities.

You will monitor Offshore Renewables and Interconnector markets, analyze competitors, track vessel activities, and translate insights into actionable commercial strategies to drive growth and long-term success for Boskalis Subsea Cables.

Qualifications

• Have 5 years of experience in commercial, business development, market intelligence, tendering, or procurement.
• Affinity with the Offshore Energy, Renewables or Maritime industry.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Willing to travel internationally when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor developments in the Offshore Renewables and Interconnector markets and translate these into commercial opportunities.
• Conduct market intelligence and competitor analyses to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
• Track vessel activities, project developments, and market trends to identify future opportunities.
• Support the development and maintenance of market databases, customer intelligence, and opportunity pipelines.
• Understand what drives our clients and contribute to building successful long-term partnerships.
• Support commercial negotiations and contribute to tailored commercial solutions for clients.
• Challenge tender teams to align proposals with client needs and market developments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous development of the commercial strategy for Boskalis Subsea Cables.
