Job summary

John Crane, a business of Smiths Group, is seeking an Apprentice Chartered Surveyor to join our property team on a 3-year MSc Apprenticeship. You will study online with UBE, work toward a Real Estate Management MSc, and qualify for RICS chartership while supporting global property operations.

You will learn to review leases, negotiate contracts, support site acquisitions and disposals, and work with legal counsels and brokers, with overseas travel as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and team work are essential.
• Good time management and organisational skills are required.
• Attention to detail and decision-making ability are important.

Responsibilities

• Support the Property Manager with lease and contract review and negotiations.
• Coordinate acquisition and disposal of sites; overseas travel may be required.
• Liaise with internal/external legal counsel and brokers; provide data for progress calls.
• Oversee major fit-out and premises Capex projects and keep records up to date.
