Job summary

British Airways in the United Kingdom invites a Global Caterer Performance Manager to lead overseas catering supplier relationships, uphold safety and quality standards, and drive performance across our global catering operations.

You will manage supplier audits, lead annual performance reviews, and work with commercial, finance and governance teams to optimise service delivery and cost efficiency while maintaining the highest customer experience standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, commercial or aviation subject preferred.
• Lead Auditor trained.
• Advanced Food Safety (HACCP) qualification.
• Experience managing airline operations, especially inflight catering.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Crisis management and Business Continuity awareness.

Responsibilities

• Act as the account manager for overseas catering suppliers and oversee stations.
• Conduct onsite and remote audits of catering and supply chain standards.
• Drive catering performance against customer satisfaction and KPIs.
• Ensure food safety and security standards are embedded in catering operations.
• Manage the tracking and reporting of catering incidents and quality issues.
• Lead the caterer performance programme and annual supplier reviews.
• Maintain reporting and data for caterer action plans.
• Collaborate across teams to keep templates and manuals up to date.
• Identify wastage and savings opportunities within catering operations.
• Support contracting, finance and supplier governance activities.
