Job summary

BA Cityflyer is looking for a Catering & Onboard Product Lead to own and drive the onboard proposition across customer, crew and charter operations from London City area. You will lead supplier performance, manage menus and initiatives, and work across internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable and commercially effective delivery.

The role sits within the Commercial & Customer team and requires strong analytical ability, cross-functional project experience, and a proactive

Qualifications

• Experience in aviation catering or service-led environments.
• Experience managing external suppliers against SLAs, service standards and performance metrics.
• Experience delivering cross-functional projects and operational improvements with measurable business benefits.
• Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting operational and customer performance data.
• Knowledge of food safety, compliance and governance requirements relevant to catering operations.
• Ability to hold a valid airside pass and provide operational support outside standard office hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve BA Cityflyer's onboard catering and product proposition across customer, crew and charter operations.
• Lead supplier performance against agreed SLAs, service standards and commercial outcomes, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Analyse operational, customer and commercial performance data to identify opportunities and implement improvements.
• Manage menus, onboard products and catering initiatives that enhance the customer experience while delivering operational efficiency and value.
• Lead and support catering-related projects from concept through implementation and benefit realisation.
• Manage food safety, hygiene standards, audits, compliance actions and associated governance processes.
• Maintain strong relationships with catering providers, airport teams, crew and operational stakeholders.
• Support procurement, tendering and contract management activities, ensuring suppliers deliver against business requirements.
• Provide operational support, escalation management and out-of-hours support when required.
